Ok... The other guy in Krampe just bought the emu 1820 soundcard. It works.. in a way... it had this software-mixing-desk thingie that you have to use to use it, and all sound input is shown perfectly on it. Also, there is nothing wrong with playback... however, when we tried recording, only Acid could get audio from the device (which isn't bad, 'cause we use acid anyway...), but there the signal was "choppy" (at random, the sound will drop to nothing and then come back at small intervals... no constant choppiness, just random...). Does anyone have any experiences with things like this happening in Acid or with this soundcard before?
