I think i got old.
Ah well.

nah i doubt that.
I just realised when someone asked me what music i was into
the other day. I said 'i like a lot of rock bands and
electronic stuff'
then when he asked me 'like who', i realised i only like
about 4 rock bands and about 3 electronic artists. HA!

i watched about 5 minutes of some music awards show on tv a
week or two ago. just long enough to realize that i didn't
recognize any of the musicians, nor did i care to.

so, i changed the channel to pbs and watched a show about
deep sea life.

I still like the music I used to, I just find it more and
more difficult to find new interesting music while
continuing to devote my time to non-musical aspects of life.

Music is a really good outlet for the maturing younguns, and
those not fortunate enough to make a life out of it have to
deal with it eventually becoming a not-so-central part of
their existence.

:~(

I've been getting sick of electronic music the last while...
I'm again prefering the emotional connection you get from
listening to a singer open up his/her heart... so yeah, I'm
mostly listening to rock music nowadays... am I getting old
to?

I still love hardcore/punk and metal. I have found a nice
outlet for such music.

I am falling away from electronica a bit. Still listen to it
but not as much as i used to

why bryce? The full time job? What do you mean? It seems to
me, most older people are stuck in a time warp. I'll
probably be into aphex in my 60's

Ok, ok, I have an excellent idea for an idm music video.
First there is some sort of weird soundrises and weird
visualruses, then the screen gets black and "got milk?"
appears which has no relation to the rest of the visualruses
or soundrises. DON"T SETAL MY IDEA!

Ha ha ha ha ha, a snuggles fabric softener commercial that
ends with "got milk". That would make absolutely no sense
and be my most favorite istable commercials for definately
sure PLUS!!!

wtf? NO MORE ROCK 'n' ROLL!! yesterday i've become 30 and i
feel old sometimes, but i've got the feeling that electronic
music is my music forever, i'm not stuck into time but its
just that i know electronic music is so much more than a
guitar, drums and a singer, dont get me wrong: I love music

It happened to my mom, who used to be quite passionate and
informed about music, but she lost her love for it somewhere
along the way, probably when I came sliding out of her birth
canal. I dread the same thing happening to me. Thankfully,
I'm nowhere close to that point yet.

But are you glad that this has happened, or not? You reveal
nothing, such an enigma. Don't you miss it? I imagine this
happening to me only when I'm dead inside.

When I stop rocking and rollin', I want you to kill me.
Demod me, capture me no matter it takes, and kill me. I long
ago established a nice, fine balance between ''geetar
muzik'' and ''eye dee em'' that I sustain to this day. And
it sustains me.

Ben Harper, eeurgh.

A Reminder

If I get old
I will not give in
But if I do
Remind me of this

Remind me that
Once I was free
Once I was cool
Once I was me

And if I sat down
And crossed my arms
Hold me into
This song

Knock me out
Smash out my brains
If I take a chair
Start to talk shit

If I get old
Remind me of this
That night we kissed
And I really meant it

Whatever happens
If we're still speaking
Pick up the phone
Play me this song.
