i did this for a remix competition for well known rappers
in iceland, Bent & DNA. the winner gets a price (to be
revealed later)

i'm not really expecting to win because it's so
unconventional production for hiphop :) but i had really fun
doing it, that's why i participated.

it's drill&bass/hiphop/drum&bass/electro kinda thing, i like
to call it electrohop or drillhop. the mood of the song
really doesn't reflect what they're rapping about, they're
basicly being all tough, so i thought doing a happy electro
remix would be funny.

here it is folks:

fárviðri (xylic remix)

enjoy

It's good. The contrast between the beats and the lyrics is
very good and mixing faster beats with rap is a hard thing
to do properly. Impressive.

i had to change the filename (link didn't work on another mb
because it had spaces inbetween words),

so here's the new URL for it:

It was pretty good. I can't say I noticed much of a drum &
bass edge to it.

it was good, altho the vox were a bit low in the mix, and i
just have a personal thing against simpler synths. fun track
tho.

funny the way you lot discuss music as if you were baking a
cake

you see a music maker is like a baker....

but i won't go into that atm :)

hedphukkerr: yeah, you might be right about the vocals being
a little low. i will hear it better tomorrow during the day
when i can turn up my monitors.
