reaktor 4 problem...

so, i got this full version of reaktor 4 session, installed
it, hosted it with floops and...

and nothing - every time my melody consists of more then 3
tones, my cpu load raises up to 100 % and i get a "cpu
overload" warning...

i tried to help out with tweaking my xp, so it looks worse,
but it works a bit faster now...

is there any else option ?? or do i have to lower the
bitrate ??

that would be a pity... because i think reaktor is a good
program, but when i can use another similar sounding synth
with 20 open windows...

What are your specs?

you could instead of lowering the bitrate increase the
buffersize of your latency in floops. that usually helps
too.

hmm 1.6 is a bit low. you ram is also low. double the size
of your ram. I think it will work allot better.

Sound card can take some of the strain from the processor at
times you see. If it has on board effects processing and
what not.

RAM is the issue though I'm afraid.

As for whether you need the program or not is up to you.

Cracked versions work a lot worse than genuine versions.
FACT!

I have the original running on my music making laptop with
512Mb 2.8Ghz using the shitty built in sound chip and I can
happily run four seperate ensambles as synths and three
reaktor effects with about 70% CPU usage. That is using
Cubase SX2 as the host. I suppose the Host will have
something to do with efficiency as well.

i think so - or they thought - "hey motherfuckers, our
shitty programs are so fuckin expensive, they can't work on
normal sucker computers - here is our magic requirement
slider ! har har har "
