I have got a new connexion on a network of the scholl i'm
studying in... good bandwidth but... soulseek doesn't work
becuz of a fucking firewall....

How could i go on living in such a poor misery ?

i read that some versions of soulseek allow you to adjust

changing ports wouldn't do it because it's in incoming
listening port; you need it bound and forwarded.

If you set up a tunnel from the outside and connect to it,
that will work (mentioned in this thread as well). The
tunnel will listen on 2234 and send on whatever you want it
to come on in.

My school network also blocks slsk. Last year I tried using
two different tunnel services, but they shortly blocked both
of them. I tried doing it myself with free proxies but the
transfer rate was like 2kb/sec. If your school has vigilant
tech guys, like me, you probably won't get away with it.

try mailing yourself a link that is 'banned' then try
soulseek that way.
