i just had lunch and watched the news while at it...seems
that with the newcomming of T-mobile the croatian telecom
also known as HTnet is getting rid of 700 employees without
any notice and help in taking care of future employment.
it's all so unbelievable to see that this country can't do
anything without foreign investors and to save the company
they have to seel it.
wtf is happening with my country...rotten politics.

the telecom industry is the shittiest shat that ever shat...
except maybe the big insurance companies.

they may put us through hell for ~80 years. but, they'll be
roasting in it for eternity. i'm sure of it.

so, rest easy. vengeance approved.

how do you know, epohs?

telecom is complicated and stressful.

let me know when you are engineering infrastructure.

edit: maybe you're just talking about the PR/customer
service side of things.

i've dealt with verizon on several different levels, and
their incompetence never ceases to astound me.

oh, i'm sure an organization of that size is amazingly
complex, with many many different departments. but, they
seem completely incapable of comunicating between these
departments. every menial task seems to be a HUGE ordeal.

and the whole 'let me know when you are engineering
infrastructure' argument is utter bullshit. just because
i'm not the head of a streamlined telecom certainly doesn't
lend credence to the fact that the the people who are
telecoms are incapable of doing much of anything right. i'm
not, nor do i claim to be. they do, and are, and
fail.

i'm talking about PR, customer service, partner relations,
their knowledge of their own infrastructure, the way they
deal with employee issues, management hierarchy, every
aspect of their organization that i've been exposed to has
been shit.
