aphex twin facial fascination?

Can anybody tell me if Aphex Twin has some fascination with
his face? Because if you look at the video's of
Windowlicker, and Come To Daddy, the cover of Come To Daddy
and the one from I Care Because You Do, they all feature his
face (with a somewhat devilish smile). So is this some sort
of fascination of him, or just coincidence?

History states it is because Techno was traditionally so
faceless that he decided to include his face on things. The
rest as they say is history.

yeah, he says int he mtv interview that everyone used to
have circuit boards and stuff on records so he decided he's
go for a facial.

the UV cover has to be the most pretentious techno cover of
all time. some nice tracks on there though. well nice

that helped him with the legend too

being such a great musicican depite of the fact that he is
deaf and blind

The mad think is he always seems to hide away when he does
live gigs.

I think he's just realised that he has an unusual face and
has found a way to kinda poke fun at himself and spin people
out at the same time

"i care because you do" goes perfect with the cover

"richard d james album" also seems pretty appropriately
packaged . . .

go to http://www.hardcorefacials.com for more info

it all started off as an idea by chris cunningham, once the
'face' caught on, it became popular and branded aphex twin
that way commercially

I care because you do and the Donkey Rubarb video both came
before Cunningham...so no, it wasn't an idea by Cunningham.

Come on, this is first level Aphex Twin stuff. When you're
to Tier 4 like the rest of us, you'll be talking about the
inverse step function used on the sequencer blip map at 2:26
in the secret unreleased "Analoge Bubblebath 8: Analgamous
Gobfucker's D-Lite [feat. ll cool Jay & Autechre]""
