the only redeeming factor to the ktpas is that they're some
sort of inside joke that we'll never get.

I think ktpas are radio signals that turn into pictures.
I'm not sure.

they (the ktpa's) really sound like structured noise
tracks...
they aren't some kind of joke, or some data turned into
music IMO
maybe he put them out as a joke, but the tracks themselves
aren't

that thing has a header, like its been generated by some
software thing... is richy really too stupid to cut that
off?

or does the multimode bla bla thing have a deeper meaning?

Not a day goes by when i don't try to crack the Smojphace
code, I've had it in the dvd player, my ZX Spectrum
emulator, the microwave.... I know there's a store of great
riches contained within, it cannot just be a bog standard
noise track. Ktpa...ktpa... these must be CLUES

it's actually some sort of RF encoding, i think i read
somewhere - used for radio transmission of data at sea. a
totally weird-ass format.

yeah, i know, its for putting pictures (of the weather and
stuff) into am radio transmissions, it modulates the data
into 2 kinds of bleeps or something. pretty rad

how can you say that ktpa1 and ktpa2 are good??

it's just noise.
i don't say this cause i don't like Aphex..but if you pay
for something this is not worth it..

it's a shame that Rich doesn't play good music anymore..
