Just as I was getting home, I saw 3 kids walking down the street. Now - and I can't help this - I immediately think 'little shits', because it's clear that's what they are from how they dress and I also know they are related to other local shitheads. Anyway, I keep watching, and I also see a little old lady walking towards them, keeping to the curb so as not to offend these little fuckwits by daring to challenge their right of way. The kid furthest from the curb then shoves the one nearest the old lady into her, making a pathetic attempt to knock the old lady, doing what he does best, acting like a complete cock. I know this may not seem a lot to you and I will concede worse does happen, but the elderly, man. Shit. I don't even like my girlfriend coming round this area too much because I know sooner or later someone is going to go too far and I will have to defend her. Now don't go thinking "Oh no! SHOVING!" because that is really mild I know, I just think what happened indicates how bad things are getting now when old people can't walk the streets without being at least verbally assaulted. I don't know about anywhere else, but lower-class parts of England are becoming worse. It's getting harder and harder to contain my thoughts about violently murdering each one of these little cunts every time I go out. |

An elderly woman? sheesh. People have no respect. In my city there are two stories that are similar but a bit different. These happened in the last two weeks. Story#1: A group of teenagers (around 14-16) go to a house. An elderly woman in her 80's answers the door. They ask to use the phone. She declines and they procede to shoot her in the face. She survived and is currently in stable condition. Story#2: A group of teenagers around the same age break into a eldery womans house (age 79) now i am not sure if they took turns or not. One proceded to rape her as his friends watched on. Fucked up ey? |

Horrible. I really, really get frustrated at people like that. It's nice when they fight amongst themselves, but I hate seeing defenseless people, or people that just don't want to have anything to do with that crap, being singled out and picked on. Although I'm really only that familiar with it through stories like these. It's best not to resist it too much, though... shits like these, you never know what they're going to do. A lot of them have nothing to lose. . Might have already been posted here, since it seems to be the biggest headline on the internet right now. |

well i mean it's not perfect... it depends where you live i guess... i wouldn't really want to live where i live if i were you, because it's pretty terrible for concerts... but i'm sure if you moved into a nice area of Montreal you would love it... or Vancouver for that matter, although then you just have to tolerate the fact that certain areas of the city are crawling with Heroin addicts... not to be afraid, just sort of disturbing to see them shooting up in shop entrances and stuff... |

Suburbia is such a narrow minded place. I can't wait to move into the city somewhere. I'm probably naive but there always seems to be so many more types of people living relatively peacefully. My town is, officially (seriously), the least gay town in the UK... its not exactly liberal... |
