just try it out, i for one love his stuff (both his cut-up
breakbeat and his bips n clicks stuff),
pretty insane and fast & hard most of the time (not his last
album though)

i recommend winter in the belly of a snake, find candace and
huge chrome cylinder box unfolding (also his limited
moonglow 7")

seeing him live = recommended!

i really like squarepusher, and i heard they are similar, i
listened to a track from huge chrome .. i think it was track
2, i think i like it, but it was bleep thus i would hear it
30 seconds at a time.

jazzy loops and afx distortion effects. boooo-RING

be splendid.

if you like needles in your ears, then go download some.

My experience went from "this sucks" to "hmmm..." to "pretty
awesome" to "hmmm..." to "this fucking blows".

Einstein-Rosen Bridge - listened to it a second ago
rulez

the most ruling songs for me are Hand Throw, A Giant Alien
Force More Violent & Sick Than Anything You Can Imagine,
Einstein-Rosen Bridge, Badminton, Mercy Funk...

Hand throw and the one with the long title have superb gabba
in the end, good for neighbours.

no other artist creates such controversy nowadays... so its
better to know his music before deciding

I love it
others hate it

albums I would get:

songs about my cats
doll doll doll
winter in the belly of a snake
chocolate wheelchair album

he's live here in a few weeks....

saw him at ATP03... briliant

i like his studio stuff in small pieces

only comparable to squarepusher if you don't really listen.
Further investigation shows they are on different paths.
Prefer the pusher!

*listening to breezeblock right now - its good, some stuff
KINDOF like go plastic which is good, my fav squarepusher,
he is basically crazy like this i think i might like it. i
get in different moods, sometimes of want chilled out stuff,
sometimes i want a full asault.

i haven't really been into snares that much, i like track
with cex. so i guess i'll grab that breezeblock and check it
out.

then i will decide after. :d

If you're coming from a Squarepusher angle, I recommend
Chocolate Wheelchair or Higgins Ultra Low... especially We
Are Oceans. I don't think Huge Chrome, Songs About My Cats,
Horse & Goat are good starting points..

Go on my son. What's the worst that could happen?

Well you could turn into another cadet in the whining waah
waah I don't like Vsnares army... but that's my problem not
yours.

let me hold onto anything this size.

alright, first minute... I like. definately my cup of tea. I
haven't had much respect for drill in the past, but i'm
warming up to it like a nice pair of silky legs.

MMmmmm.

I recommend Find Candace. It's currently my favourite album
of all (including albums not by vsnares).

seen him last night, great show; he played lots of
unreleased tracks with some classic music in it,
beautifull.
i went backstage but VS was tired and all grumpy so i
couldn't really talk about his music, i had a fight (for
fun) with his manager, it was a great night, and the good
news is: i'm seeing him on friday again :)

I love Vsnares, although some hate me because of it. I
started with higgins ultra low glue funk whatever....and was
blown away. Of all of his stuff though my favorite is Doll
Doll Doll. My least favorite is Making Orange things, its
alright but it kind of pisses me off after awhile. Also look
into salt!

i love "dance like you're selling nails", great song. the
rest of his stuff hasn't really interested me.
