The Beatles- The Beatles (the White Album)

But right now as of this moment it's A Certain Ratio- Early.
But ovearll, it'll take a minor miracle for anything to top
the White Album. Niche has no meaning. Even Harry Nilsson
couldn't do it.

I couldn't narrow it down to one. But some that spring to
mind at this precise moment in time would be:

- MBV - Loveless
- Neko Case & Her Boyfriends - Furnace Room Lullaby
- Icarus - Squid Ink
- Town & Country - It All Has To Do With It
- El-P - Fantastic Damage
- The Velvet Underground - White Light / White Heat
- Low - Secret Name
- John Coltrane - A Love Supreme
- NLF3 Trio - Untitled (so far as i can gather, it's a
double CD job anyway, jazz-funk semi-improv stuff anyway)

Yeh. They're all really good and stuff.

No need to be rude-ish, mister.
I was just answering a question that someone asked me and I
clarified a bit, I was only wasting my own time and crudding
up a thread that I created. I see little reason for
you to complain.
Pointing out the fact that something has been already said
is about as worthless as making that unneeded statement for
the second time.
See, now you could reply with, "Well you didn't need to say
that, either!." and we'd have yet another vicious
circular delight!
All hail circle-dom!

: )

Neutral Milk Hotel - In the Aeroplane Over the Sea

I'm not one to "choose" a favorite album - but this one has
had such a hold of me since I first heard it 4 years ago
that I cannot BUT confess, honestly, that this is the most
important singular work of music in my life. I've said this
before, but I have to stress the point - to me, this is not
so much an album as it is a MIRICLE.

I am also downloading this album. I've never heard of a
piece of music being called a 'miracle'. My expectations are
very high!

My favorite thing about Jeff Mangum (the man behind Neutral)
is his voice. I also think he's genuine and honest. That
said, I'm not a huge fan of his music or the album, but he's
a guy I have a lot of respect for.

MAN I love his voice.
