forget the drum machine
a cheap sampler + a funk compilation, preferably one with funky drummer and amen brother on it = at least 100 jungle tracks

hey, don't get me wrong i really like my tr 707, especially in sync with my tr 606. but it has a very distinct and not so versatile sound. it is best used in techno and house.

Well, you know, if you just buy the stuff and don't worry about it too much you can find out how good you are when you're doing these shows.
