i dont know what to say, is it boring? is it annoying? yes,
but these high pitched sounds of utter destruction did
something to my ears, it acually made them feel good! its
felt as good as cleaning your ears out deeply with ear
twigs.

I dwnloaded the Merzbox for some reason. Quite shocking when
a track comes on at random in Winamp or whatever :D

I have his split with Bastard Noise (whether or not it's
actually a split is hard to tell)

it's brutal to the ears but yet you can't quit listening

...for a while at least

there are better noise artists out there.

although he does deserve some respect for being one of the
first and he seems to work with everyone and have a
bajillion releases.

...What if all of his tracks were just random bits of
non-musical data converted into a waveform?

Would that still be music?

...But I'm not saying that his actual work isn't
really music.

Usually. But not if the results of it are exceptionally good
and/or interesting.

well i generally prefer the stuff on mego. hecker, fennesz,
pita, farmers manual.

a bit different than merzbow. some might not consider it
straight up noise.

p.s. i really want to get my ears cleaned out
professionally.

'plongez, plongez' by bremzen and yourself. particularly
the deep voice saying plongez.

true story.

Hey, any chance you could hook me up with one of them there
DVD's? That track is wonderful. It reminded me of Paul
Lansky's musical voice manipulations.

hecker = florian hecker

tim hecker = tim hecker

i'd say some fennesz is noisey.
