Drinking alone is a much-maligned activity. Personally i find the complete loss of boredom, ability to talk bollocks to people on the interweb, (perceived) heightened awareness of social relationships, and the sudden liking for rubbish music to be plus points, on the whole. Although tomorrow's crushing hangover and the inabilty to be creative in any meaningful way are a bit of a downside. But there you go. |

I always drink on my own, I don't know what the fuss is. I'd like to go out but most times there's noone to go out with. I agree with DS9mm, it alleviates boredom, music sounds ace, things don't seem that bad after all.... all plus points as far as I can see. I just wish i didn't keep having to go to the bathroom. |

I'll alter my statement out of respect for George Thorogood fans everywhere... at least NACMAT isn't drinking alone, that wouldn't be conductive for good spirits in his case. He needs to be around other people right now, not a 12 pack with only one set of fingerprints on it. |

Some people likez drinkinz on their own, and some don't. It helps with being pissed off and sad as hell for some, but for others it only makes it worse. I'll admit that being drunk with friends is Funner though, but lonely pissed-up realizations about your own state of affairs can be quite enlightening if you remember them in the morning. And such is the nature of alcohol. |
