Hi,

Just bought Tetsu Inoue Worldreceiver CD and i noticed there
is a punch through the barcode. Anyone knows why they do
that? Is it happened in the cd factory or else?

Please, does anyone knows the answer?

Thanks!!!!!!

Wouter

its a promo cd, given to radio stations, sent out to fans
and so on, you ddint buy the cd brand new otherwise it
wouldnt have that punch or a band-saw mark through the side
of the cd case

Thanks guys, so it's has already been done in the factory??
I bought the cd on Ebay, but the seller did'nt tell me there
was a punch in the barcode. But the cd is not wasted, it has
been done properly. I can live with the thought it is a
promo.. :0

factory could care less where the cds go, they cost about
five cents to make, then they go to the record labels, in
boxes probably of 100 or so (im talking out of my arse right
now), then they are punched out by the
workers/temps/part-timers and sent to any given area of the
world

except southern africa

im always living, sometimes life is hard, but LIFE IS GREAT,
make it that way

you bought it used, so you get what you get (and you got the
whole thing minus one little little circle, i say big deal.

when you buy brand new cds, you never have this problem
though

pop-tarts

valuable if it has the golden stamp thingy in the front,
(the this is property of the record company if you have this
in your possession you must return it" thinkgy, but any
moron can make this circle in the barcode

and im not that kind of moron.

recycle: "when you buy brand new cds, you never have this

you are right, but this cd is deteted long time ago, so it's
almost impossible to buy it new. It's quite rare.
