I'm updating my pc soon, primarily to make music & I'm
looking to get a new soundcard, that will allow me to record
instruments into the pc & also be able to play keyboard
while triggering sounds from progs within the pc, via
midi.......say playing the keyboard but using a rhodes prog
within the computer.......anyway the card I'm considering is
the tera tech phase 88.......anyone any advice with regards
this soundcard or any other similar cards, I've pasted in
some of the tech details

8 analog inputs, switchable between +4 dBu (2,1 Vrms)
and -10 dBv (0,55 Vrms)
8 analog outputs, switchable between +4 dBu (2,1 Vrms) and
-10 dBv (0,56 Vrms)
24 Bit/96 kHz signal processing of the analog and digital
inputs and outputs
Coaxial digital interface for S/PDIF, AC3 or DTS formats
MIDI interface
Multiplatform (MAC & PC)
Low latency ASIO 2.0, GSIF and WDM kernel streaming support

if it's external, make sure it's firewire... that's about
what I can tell you...

otherwise, what you posted here looks like it would be
enough.
