I am going to a pub quiz with some friends tonight, mainly because first prize is an 80-pint bar tab. I am expecting questions on kylie minogue, cricketers from the 1980s and precise weights of famous fat men. Plus the obligatory "name everyone on this photocopied sheet of faces Picture Round". Would this be accurate? I get the feeling that my areas of knowledge are going to fail me something mighty tonight, but wish me luck. Vast quantities of beer are at stake. |

We came third out of 30-odd, our prize being 3 shots each :D As predicted, there was a picture round (involving Mel C, Ian Botham and Bill "Jack Duckworth" Tarmey), a "90s britpop" music round which we absolutely cleaned up at, and the rest was just general knowledge and such. A fun night out for all the family. Sample question: Q) Who was the first british female solo artist to have a #1 album? A) Kate Bush. There were absolutely no amusing questions to share. At all. |
