Small-town England is awful, but the big cities are alright. Manchester and liverpool are nice if you avoid the shit bits, and london is a good "arty" place to be, albeit with unfriendly people. I haven't got all that much experience of other places, but the Netherlands seemed quite civilised and pleasant when i was there. |
