Interesting Read

This guy gets an actress who has reviled him for years to
blow him on film for his new movie... That sir is charisma.

i haven't read the whole thing yet (it's pretty big article
and im at work...will finish it later today though, i like
him a lot). always when i read something about him i get
this feeling that he should be way older than he actually
is...not as much for what he says as for what he has been
through in his life time. it's like he's experienced just
about everything yet...travelled all over the world...worked
with many famous artists...acting, directing, music making,
painting...and he's probably not even 40...amazing guy.

the brown bunny is considered to be the worst movie ever
made.

i saw a teaser for his next movie. from the teaser, you
can't really tell anything about the film other than that it
has VG in it. also, it is unclear if the title is "the
brown bunny" or "for adults only."

i gather that it's called "the brown bunny" though, from
that interview.

its a good read thanks.

yes its very much 'the brown bunny'
and some of us have been following it closely especially
since the early cut (on vhs) was shown at cannes 2003.
by the way for all you haters - it will be awsome.
if it was being shown in an art gallery people wouldnt have
a problem with it. but for some reason people are nasty
about it.
EVEN if it did end up being 2 hours of nothing but gallo
driving the desert + sunsets through dirty van windows, i
know it would be beautiful because i trust his aesthetic
enough.

The world for sure would be a smaller place without Vince
Gallo.
Having that said, the guy's got some serious issues, innit?

i dont know, i pretty much enjoy everything i
read/hear/watch that hes involved with. a lot of people
probably get upset because of the things he says in
interviews and stuff, i just think its all great.
like this http://www.buddyhead.com/other/vincentgallo/page_2.html
he says some sort of mean things in it but if you just go
with it and dont worry about being stuck up its just really
funny and awsome.

i guess what i mean to say is,
i think he is incredibly clever. i think his films are very
clever and i think whatever he writes is very clever. if
you dont worry about being offended by his opinions (or at
least what he is saying at the time) it is all great.
i think this quote from the interview at the beggining of
this post is very much what hes about:
"But I'm not really a collage artist like Quentin Tarantino
or Wes Anderson. I'm not like those other guys, Spike Jonze,
too, guys who watch things and take notes. I'm trapped in my
own stubborn world over-and-over, looking for a similar
insight, a similar aesthetic, a similar point of view."
so when you read or watch things by him and realize that,
then first off, i think you will see the beauty in it all
and also you see that you cant really criticize him for
that. it just doesnt work.

I think you will find it is honesty that counts and he has
that in spades i think.

is that supporting my points or not?
sorry its just that last phrase
'in spades' == 'in large quantities' ?
or
'that in spades' == 'doesnt really have that'?

hey was also briefly in one of jay-Zs recent videos.
that glassjaw video sucked, glassjaw sucks,
but he was pretty awsome in it.
paris hilton was in his 'honey bunny' a few years ago
anus, hes easy to like because he is so incredibly awsome.
