yes, i agree with you. after the match some italian
journalists said barça is probably best team in europe at
the moment and i think the same.
it was a pleasure to see barça play so well,
congratulations.

what i think? barça is better than real madrid, juventus,
manchester utd, milan, arsenal and bayern monaco. if they
will play always so well there will be few chance for
others.

btw: bayern monaco=bayern munchen

well, barça comes form 5 years of bad game... so they still
have a lot to show, one good game doesnt mean anything and
the year is too long... lets see if they can keep it this
way

arsenal
milan
inter
juve
real madrid
manchester

these still seem stronger to me, but if barça keeps playing
so fast, then we have chances

juventus has probably best defense of europe and a very
strong midfield. here some stats (probably a record):

---champion's league---
9 points in 3 matches
0 ga
3 gf

---italian championship (serie A)---
25 points in 9 matches (9 won, 1 draw, 0 lose)
2 ga
20 gfserie A (in 9 matches)

so just 2 goals against after 12 matches.

Juve is not very spectacular to see and not fast as Barça
(sometime juve is boring), anyway it's really a compact and
strong team.

When Zlatan Ibrahimovic will back the wonderful Zlatan of
Ajax and when Del Piero will be Del Piero of some time ago,
and when Trezeguet will be out from his injure we should
improve our attack too.

bayern munchen - juventus = 0 - 1 (DelPiero)

great magic of ibrahimovic who drive crazy 2 german's
defensors and give a gold ball to del piero who scores.

12 points in 4 matches.

The only teams that right now have a realistic chance of
winning the CL are Barcelona,Juve, Milan and Chelsea.

Other teams are just simply not as good these days. Still
its only november but no teams look as composed overall as
those 4. Im predicting Chelsea or Juve to go all the way to
lifting the cup.

Is it just me or is Ronaldinho by far the greatest
footballer in the world today?!! No disagreeing with that me
thinks...

dont get me wrong

real madrid is the best team in history cos of the
championships they have won in their country and in europe,
no other team has nearly as many european cups as they do,
so there is no discussion there.

when I say its overrated I talk about the last two years

cos they indeed have great names, but who dont play at the
expected level anymore... in may 2003 they lost against juve
in the semifinals, and since then they havent shwon all the
power that you could expect from a team with 5 super cracks

and really since 2003 imo they have never played that good,
they are slow, and resolve their matches in some individual
actions, but as a team they play each day more and more
slowly... I dont know if this will change this year, but so
far thats how they play

last saturday they won 2-0 against getafe (a new team in
first division in spain) and the whole stadium was
whisteling at them cos they played so boring, and that
happens a lot lately when they play at home in madrid

madrid fans know a lot about football and they are tired of
watching boring slow games

this is why I said it was overrated (these last two seasons)

you shouldn't take me seriously...i just like to tease the
football fans :)

real indeed probably is the best club in history, but as you
say, they're not playing that good in the past couple of
years. i think they should have kept more of those hard
working players (makelele, munitis, ...). it all went down
for them when hierro left the club - that really is not the
proper way to deal with a player who has done so much for
the club. also sending morientes away was a mistake...guti
should play more upfront. there's just too many good players
and it's not working out for some reason..i bet the
atmosphere is pretty tense, and firing del bosque was a bad
thing as well.
anyway, i hope they improve something quick :)

what do you mean Nedved is overrated?! nedved is absolutely
amazing! he's such a catalyst on the field...

pavel nedved is like a legend. the blonde warrior is great!

real madrid? too much strikers, too much stars, too much
attack, poor defense and poor midfield. barça plays much
better and has a better balance on the field.

this spanish and italian rounds were up to my taste :)

real finally played a good game..they scored 5!!

and inter was down 2 goals against juventus, but managed to
tie!! this is great especially, because juventus is really
playing good defense this year.
stankovic = scarry...you wouldn't want to mess with him :)

to juve who has an impenetrable armoured defense.

draws and just 1 match lost. Great numbers for both

only if Barça will still have such an injury troubled
squad. The only one who impresses me at Chelsea is Robben,
he can lay an entire defense to waste with his actions.
Should have won the young footballer of the year award
instead of Rooney, who hasn't really been that special since
his injury.

chelsea are good ... I guess you can say that considering
their players... But still... In my opinion, chelsea will go
nowhere this season. they still have to build up a team
spirit.. and know eachother. They have to find their game. A
whole lot of the players, and the manager are all new... My
opinion is that Barça will crush them.

Now... Man.Utd.-AC Milan will be a big game. for me at
least, as im a huge Man utd. fan... This fixture is
completely new... The two teams have never faced eachother
under sir. Alex's reign.
Im very much looking forward too it. Both teams are awesome.
And stable... So the odds are very tight.

Man. Utd. has only been stable in the CL really, been
wasting way too many chances in the premiership, considering
all the firepower they've got. Funny though, Ferguson
predicted this tie and it came true.
Anyway I reckon all of these ties look promising (on paper).
