May as well give up on bed now then. Have a bowl of cereal
and set about your day.

You will find an hour's sleep this afternoon will set you
for tonight much better than going to sleep now, as that
will just throw your body clock out of whack.

Oh yeah, because the position of the sun is _so_ important.

Crazy. Isn't time strange? It is. I hope you're dreaming
about sugarplum fairies right now. But I think you should
have did what Danbrusca said.

I know all about sabotaged internal clocks and the havoc
they can cause... I haven't posted on Xltronic between the
hours of 12AM and 5PM in a long time... those are my hours
of sleep lately. Just one night, ONE NIGHT where I stay up a
bit late, and it's a snowball rolling down a hill.

always better to pull through and sacrifice a night's
sleep.

I'm always fucking around with my internal clock, so believe
me..

When the sun goes down and darkness occurs, the pineal is
"turned on" by the SCN and begins to actively produce
melatonin, you know.
what i mean is that yes maybe the sun's position isn't
vital, but darkness does help.

my first day back in Canada after being in Holland for three
months I went to bed like 6:30 pm, and got up 3:30 am the
next morning...

so I know about fucked sleep schedules... but this is more
normal for me... staying up to the wee hours of the morning,
and then sleeping in to the afternoon...
