it'd be pretty cool if xlt had a thread where every member
recorded themselves reading the same sentence, like "hello,
this is [insert username], welcome to xltronic."

course, i dunno what we'd do about different languages.

i'm too lazy to do it, i'd host the files for peeps though.

it kinda seems like one of those things that'd never really
be all that popular.

no i think it'd be cool

someone on here would end up sampling them, and making a
track out of it all

that would be cool !

Have a random sound file on the first page !

The eddie izzard chat has that sort of thing on the go:

i'm always curious about how people on messageboards sound.

i usually picture everyone as having an american accent.

lol

are you sending in AMR format? (recording with a Nokia?)

you may have to convert when you get it on your pc or
something

pOgO sounds like Ruth Maddox till she picks up the phone,
then it's Tara Palmer Tompkinson time. On a side note, the
music in Kill Bill that accompanies the Bride everytime she
sees a member of the squad ("WHEEEE--OOOOO") was just in an
old episode of Friends, so QT is obviously a closet Friends
fan. I think I need a small dog to point these little
factoids out to...

> good idea! = )

but don't keep this idea buried in this topic - someone,
make a thread about it... (or i will if you don't want to)

We should have people to read out factiods. Like on the old
.nu site there were aphex twin factiods. it would be wicked
if members would read them out.

I've just thought of 2 new ones btw:
Plaid is a Scottish textile
nlogax is from n.log.a^x part of a mathematical formula,
which shows how to convert logarithms.

there is not only a restriction of 30 characters but also
some symbols are gone, although I didn´t had 30 characters
in my previous city field, it was changed to something weird
:(

thanks tunemx
