"b i l l y b o y" i'm imagining a predator shopping in tescos, his triangalar laser sighting zeroing in on some unexpected bargains, he whispers to the checkout girl in that recorded voice "wheres the toiletires?" and generally morphs in and out of visibility as he goes for the pick n mix. hahaha i liked P2 for its storyline and continuation of the pred mythology with info on the pred hunting culture.. |

Those two things you listed are literally the only things going for it. The film was a disaster. They also made a monkey out of Paxton, which is unforgivable. |

apparently this is one of the major irritations in the AvP film. OOOH WHAT A BIG SPOILER IS COMING UP!!! from what I have read, not seen it myself, mind, one of the predators just dies when he easily could've done the whole "HARGH HARGH HARGH-during-countdown-in-alien-numericals-on-wristpad" thing. and to some of these people it would even seem logical that predator would do so at the time. the fans don't like that this doesn't happen. they get real pissy about on IMdb. but then the whole idea that- OH SHIT! ANOTHER SPOILER!! -a human actually helps a predator in this film is blasphemy to the true fan, seeing as the Hunt is all about honour and how would the predator clan in this case ever accept that one of their own succeeded at a Hunt with the help of a lowly lifeform etc. more pissiness on IMdb follows. |

1st thing could be that the pred didn;t set off his nuke cos there were ither preds with a chance to complete their hunt left alive? just a thought 2nd "hole". Maybe the pred let the human help cos the sittatuin was soooooo fucking bad, he knew it'd be the only way and they look down so much on us humes anyway that it could have totally dismissed the action as being helpfull at all? I'm gonna give the director the benifite of the doubt till i see it. Why? Cos i really don;'t want this one to suck like A4 or P2!!!! |
