has anyone of you seen the documentation "jazz" by ken burns? in the 7th episode of the european version, that covered the swing-era during the years 1941-1942, the role of swing-music in world war 2 was discussed and the narrator told of a soldier that came back from war and the first thing he wanted to do was to listen to a special swing-song. but i forgot the name. i think it was something with "beat" and it featured female vocals. the song was good and i want to listen to it, therefore i need the name. |
