spybot - i'm getting a dso exploit entry in my registry that won't go away however many times i correct it
ad-aware (new version) - its picking up a file in aol AND in mozilla that apparently is associated with iwon, surely this isn't right? and if you try to delete it it hangs up.
anyone else have similar problems recently?

It's a problem with IE itself... There's nothing you can do to sort it unless you fancy recoding explorer ;)

Lifestep? A shell alternative to explorer.
You can stop explorer running by editing the reg directly.. This DSO thing is really nothing to worry about. Use a decent browser -cough-firefox-cough-

I would suggest getting some sypware removal software. McAfee has a good one if I remember correctly. Also have you tracked down the offending file, ended it's proccess and deleted it?

just search for mozz.dll and see what comes up... I've had similar problems with files getting on my computer that ad-aware couldn't remove, so I searched through google and managed to find the solution...
