...have they released anything since Vision Creation Newsun/Rebore vol.0?
i only know this page but i don't know if it's up to date, nothing released since 2001 seems a bit long... (or maybe they're just doing live stuff now?)

i think V?redoms music is coming out fairly soon, i can't remember where i read abou the release though or even if i did at all... maybe i dreamt it.
I know that some albums are being re-release and re-mastered, might get pop-tatari.

i already have Pop Tatari ordered at the moment but i don't think it's the remastered edition... ' _ '
on amazon.fr the re-edition went directly from "coming soon" to "unavailable" without passing by the "available" state...
*checks* on .com only the 1993 edition is listed, but on .co.uk it seems like it's the 2004 edition only. well, i don't know. should i cancel and order at .co.uk instead...

...considering the price difference (twice the price if i convert the currency), i don't think it's so much worth it ^^

they fucking rule , i saw them this year at the scala , amazing , best live band i've ever seen. and it was with lightning bolt and black dice.. awesome...
they have a new album lined up for end of the year , however thats all the details that are confirmed. expect them to carry on with their new mature VCNS/SUPER AE sound rather than just noise. it might be a live album , either way i'm very excited about it.
a DVD just came out in japan actually... fuck i wish i knew the name , but there is one that just came out , a live gig. and its R2 so it works in the UK....

ooioo are touring now it seems , but only US dates confirmed.
have you heard the band "bush of ghosts" ? - it features boredoms members , doing jap digi ragga , the least one they did was rather good

ok =)
i like Ooioo very much too, and i have some other stuff featuring Yamatsuka eYe:
• two albums from Naked City, with John Zorn and others, which are great
• Nani Nani, with John Zorn on his label Tzadik, which is great as well and pretty funny (but the last track is hated by a lot of people, as it's an overstretched scream by eYe for 18 minutes... with just a very little bit of reverberation or overdubbing from the same scream... ^^)
• TV Shit, w/Sonic Youth, which can be described as this: screaming "NOOOO!!!!" over and over again over noise and other records playing on the background (recorded live)
i also have an album by Free Kitten, it's ok but not as good as Ooioo.
haven't heard anything from their other projects though, neither Bush Of Ghosts, neither UFO or Die, nor any other if there's more...

tv shit with is awesome - i love that album.
i just got a dvdr boredoms bootleg. it has a live performance (6/18/99) and a bonus video of seiichi yamamoto "murder case of the water spectacles" which is very weird and cool.

Seadrum is worth getting, the 2nd track isn't so good because other bands do it a lot better. I'm thinking of Acid Mothers Temple here in particular. If it's a crazy price like the Rebore volumes are then I wouldn't bother.

Pop Tatari Chocolate Synthesizer Super Roots Super Roots 2 Super æ Super Roots 5 Vision Creation Newsun Seadrum/House Of Sun.
my favourites are Pop Tatari and Super Roots for the "chaotic" period (got a bit bored of Chocolate Synthesizer i must say... maybe this kind of music doesn't stand a *lot* of listens?), Super æ and Vision Creation Newsun for the "trippy" period : )
i thought Seadrum/House Of Sun (this new one) was kinda deceiving, but some people loved it - listen before you buy anyway... it's much more like OOIOO than Boredoms actually. and don't expect any real crazyness in the (only) two tracks.

Seadrum is rather jolly good, while House of Sun seems to be lacking something.
