in my little world, autechre peaked around 1996ish. i'd recommend looking for: LP5 envane EP/2x12" cichlisuite EP/2x12" peel session #1 (circa 1995) EP/12" peel session #2 (circa 2000?) EP/12" (best of the newschool AE in my book) |

all in all Incunabula seems to be a very good album im going to listen thru there albums in chronological order now downloding Amber |

I would suggest d/l "Clipper" or even "444" first as I feel those are their most accesible songs. As for my suggestion...well I'm biased to the AI years...so my suggestion would be to listen to Incunabula. I say start early and work your way up. Who knows...you might only like their first 3 albums like me...and start to find their new material garbage or you might fill the consensus and really appreciate their new sound. Either way...it's usually a good idea to start at the beginning and work your way up. That way you won't miss any gems for sure. |
