"The first full length of Synthemes+ shows the diversity
and talent this 21-year old 'wizard' has. The music ventures
between soft soundclashing electronica and challenging
soundscapes. This full release contains 11 tracks and is a
mix of acoustic instruments and electronic ambient sounds,
all overdubbed by electro and drum'n'bass rhythms, creating
some very personal floating, spacy and melodic tracks. "All
these recordings are selections of the best tunes that I've
done. The styles are very changing as they are fragments of
the many different sorts of music that I wanted to have
experienced making.""

i'm only asking as i have a few versions of the gymnopedies
and the gnossiennes and i don't think all interpreters are
any good....
for example i have this satie comp played by anne queffelec
that i detest. PASCAL ROGE is awesome on the other hand.

on topic: i guess it's "fragile by yes". i just bought
a reissue yesterday and i love it!!!

they all seem robotic after you've heard him play the
gnossiennes and the gymnopedies, his touch is not so linear
and more how i expected satie to play. for me anyway.
especialy gnossiennes number 2!

I like staying up all night getting fucked, then drinking
shit loads of white cider while passing out to Confield and
Vladislav Delay's MULTILA.

I know that I go on but I urge everyone who hasn't heard it
to hear the latter album. It surprises me that he is never
mentioned.

H>Ost - CIN.

I listened to it about a million times a few months back,
kinda wore it out... i came back to it about a week ago
though, and it's as fantastic as ever. I love this album
with a passion.

I have also been listening to:

Max Tundra - Mastered By Guy at The Exchange
Laura Cantrell - When The Roses Bloom Again
Xinlisupreme - Tomorrow Never Comes
Pluramon - Dreams Top Rock
Terry Riley & Stefano Scodanibbio - Lazy Afternoon Amongst
The Crocodiles
