Glad I hated Drukqs

When Drukqs came out I was extremely disappointed. As a
result, with the exception of Meltphace6 (which still sounds
completely fresh) I never bothered listening to it much...I
have it in MP3 form and never listen...today I was cleaning
my car and I found disc 2 under the seat along with a
Beretta 9mm pistol and a kilo of cocaine. I started
listening and I have fallen in love with the album, so I am
now fucked of my face on coke waving a gun in the air
listening to Taking Control.

very true indeed. No one does electronic bleeps better than
Richard James...I have other tracks I love but no one makes
me think "fuckin hell how has he done that" more than
aphex...even when I can replicate the sounds used the way he
puts them together is something unique.

ive never disliked drukqs in any way, i have at times gotten
tired of it, but this is natural. lately ive been listening
again, and i think when you own an album for a years, listen
to the hell out of it and forget about it, and then give a
courtesy listen a year later, you REALLY respect the whole
fucking thing, its genious i love it. feels like an evil
attack with porcelin cracked dolls (piano pieces) and mad
spacious otherworldly mental case oddness in colourful
bubbles (idm pieces)

ok.

i remember playing for my friends meltphace 6 while we were
all high (mind you this was a few years back i dont do drugs
like that anymore and when i did it was rarely, my exp.
phase what can i say). anyways they loved it, they asked me
who it was i just told them it was 'elec.-jazz' i hesitated
in saying aphex cause they relate him with just techno.
anyways i figured i handled that quite nicely seeing as they
loved the song. i mean honestly who cannot love that song
while you're in a road trip totally blasted.

the beretta 92f is possibly my favorite firearm. And that
sounds like i'm some kind of expert in this area, which i am
not. 2nd place: glock 17. or the walther p5.

i'm afraid of cocaine.

i once had the privelege of actually holding a beretta 92f
(drooling over it, whispering to it and fondling it
intensely) in my hand, when i was at a las vegas mall. The
guy behind the counter was as american as you could possibly
stereotype the bastards.

oh right drukqs. i wish i hated it, so i could learn to love
it intensely, for as long as i live. yeahh

drukqs is like a picture of RDJ done by his reflections and
music from the past. I thought that some tracks are not
good, but that was in the past. Now i think that I just
haven`t understanded this music. Some track still are too
weird for me, but i understand it now, and thats because
ilove Drukqs so much.

DRUKQS = everything in my life two years ago
spiraling downward into a never ending shit hole.

Point 01) My ex-girl of four years leaves me while we were
both listening to Hy A Scullyas Lyf A Dhagrow... says I am
"too much of a worry wort"

Point 02) I totalled my '87 grand am while listening to
AFX237v7 *had to purchase a new double-disc from the record
store b/c my copy was ruined after the crash*

Point 03) Every evening while reflecting on the days past, I
would put a track list of the piano pieces together & try to
sort my life out as though the music was my head. Mr.
Richard D. James is a genius at creating puzzles &
complicated musical compositions... If myself could write
piano music like this... with a little twist of the doepfer
synths... I would be set!

Point 04) It really means a lot to me, to see an artist
who's been around for 20 years evolve into a complete
maniac! Listen... fucking RDJ is a fucking
maniac!!!!!!!!!!!!! I FUCKING LOVE THE GUYS MUSIC

drukqs kinda reminds me of 9/11. I know thats a pathetic

the weather was chilly. I was shell shocked. Lot's of
