''Orbital's last and final event will be the John Peel
Maida Vale gig. This gig will be broadcast on July 28th 2004
on Radio One.''

Did anyone make a top quality recording of this?

Can I please get a CDR copy? (Extensive trade list will be
emailed).

;-) Cheers!!!!!

ive got one but my processor buckles under the pressure of
streaming and recording at the same time and tends to skip
occasionally

''are you by any chance aik on slsk? :)''

Nope!!!!

recording it from the stream is one possibility, but this
show was broadcast on Radio one two days ago. Which would've
been a damn fine chance to grab it as nature intended (and I
missed it...)

i have it..

recorded it live from the radio as it was broadcast; the
streams are never up to much.

it might be.
another way around it could be if i sent it to you (or
someone else) on CD and they hosted it for all to enjoy.

did you hear the show? some amusing little twists to old
tracks:
opus3-sampling halcyon+on+on had an entirely new
breakdown inserted about two thirds of the way through. it
was constructed from bon jovi, the darkness & belinda
carlisle. they also covered the dr who theme tune. nice to
see orbital messing about & not taking their farewell show
too seriously.

how big are the tracks? perhaps you could email me (or
someone) them and then i can let everyone dl them on
soulseek

They've been doing the darkness-bon jovi-belinda carlisle
thing live as well. Seeing them three weeks ago was such an
emotional event, I'm getting quite choked-up just thinking
about it :'(
