[29/07 - New Weekly Xltronic Poll]

Do you think music releases in 2005 will be better than
2004 or not? Which are your expectations about next year?
Maybe a new AFX album could save us from oblivion.

Vote now!

i doubt it's possible to be less good than this
year...although im not really looking for a new boc and
autechre. new afx would be nice though :)

I think 4] is the sweetest, so I voted for that one too.

I'm really, really looking forward to a new BoC album, so
2005 should be a good. Aphex Twin seems pretty much finished
to me, but it would be great if he were to pick up where he
left of with Drukqs. A new ae album would be great. I'd love
to hear what new direction they will head in. And if they
were to release a double CD album, 2005 would definitely be
a great year for IDM.

"..hear what new direction they will head in"

they're kinda stuck with one direction, don't you think? :)

it's only a little more than halfway through the year and so
far there have been a metric ton of great new releases. and
i know there's a lot more planned for this year. so i'm
estimating that next year won't be as exceptional as this
one.

Not at all, tolstoyed. They've come up with something new
and different with every release.

if autechre, boc and afx release somehting then its gonna be
a great year... but who cares really there are lots of other
artists doing great things

I am sure we will have good music coming as always

but hard to beat 2001

choose from in '05 ;)

4 is nice but I voted 1 because I'm a little optimistic
today.

if we're talking about idm... i suppose this year hasn't
been all that good... but if we're talking about music in
general... well it's been very good to me so far...
