it's a nice little tune. very subtle, with nice harmony.
sounds quite well though out. it's really good. if it's an
improvisation then it's qualifies as "truly wonderful". :)

I really think this track is brilliant. The way it ends
doesn't seem quite final enough. But yes its pretty much
excellent.

thanks for the positives peeps :)))). yeah Dann i know
exactly what you mean about the end, all it needs is another
couple of notes i think, (unless you were implying its not
long enough?) :)

thanks for taking the time to listen anyway..

No, it's just a note or two away really.

I downloaded a few more of your tracks, all are good. Rain,
Toyshop, Octopus. I'll hear more laters, you have impressed
me good sir.

Forget the 'Piano' it's tired. Do something else withat
composition if you are really into it.

the melody is great, but for some reason it sounds like
you've overused noise-reduction and you could also do with a
few more mics on the piano...

hmmm.. I don't think I've heard these other tracks on your
page before.. sound of the seventh was great, and I'm
checking the rest now!

Eep, if you thought that sounded like an authentic piano i
must be doing something right, because that was with a
sampler patch in Reason. i feel like a fraud now! :-/ thats
only because i don't have a proper piano mind, and i'd love
to have one, but i can't really afford/house one :'(

heh, i'm glading everyones liking it anyway, and some of my
other stuff as well. i do try and listen to all the stuff
that everyones made, but its a bit hard with a 56k modem...
thanx a mill for all the good vibes people :D

yeah.. that would explain why it sounded
over-noise-reduced... it sometimes makes regular things
sound electronic, but in this case it was electronic all the
way... however, I don't understand how you made it sound
like you only had one mic to record with when it's a reason
patch, and you clearly didn't use any mics...

i'm guessing its the acute reverb, i don't really know
anything about mastering music, or music tech :)

So did you write this piece on a keyboard or just went
straight in and sequenced it? Most of it sounds playable
apart from a possible third hand tinkling away in places,
which frankly I just don't have. I'd quite like to have a go
at playing it if you have any way of telling me wott buttonz
to press on the piano.

I've not listened to the track, as I'm at work, but noise
reduction tends to take off the higher frequencies, so the
piano is likely to sound dull - as if only 1 microphone was
used, at the bass end of the piano.

This tends to affect sampled sounds aswell, when one note is
tuned to a higher note.

it was all sequenced.... i'll give you the midi or score if
you give me your e-mail. i dont know if its possible to
play, i can't say i've tried, my perfotmance is very weak as
i stopped taking lessons about 4 years ago...

polygon ring, i wish i could improvise pieces like this!!!
mate, if i could it'd be sorted. i'm now very very drunk and
have work in less than an hour. will talk later.

yo, little sister, if you could give me any mastering
tips/pointers that would be amazing, cos tbh i don't know
what i'm doing when it comes to stuff like that, and you
obviously seem to be know what you're talking about....

take it easy peeps
