Circular path when lost

I am sorry that this is not music related. I have just
seen the coolest movie (third time) called The Cube (the
first movie). I have been lost once in the forest and I
remember that I started walking around in circles.... Then
I decided to use the sticks to mark the ground and found my
way.....

More stories with better details

I wanted to know whether there is a unique model of the
shape of the path people are making when lost and whether
it can be presented by any equation. I know that it cannot
be a circle... maybe an elipse or spiral, but never a
circle....

DISCUSS!

Thanks

Sorry. I liked the cube. It is simplicity that created
suspense which I liked. It is the portrait of characters
that describes half of N.American population that fascinates
me.

It is the flexibility of the story that works on many levels
that..... does something ... something that MANY movies
cannot.

You don't have to discuss anythig... Negative responses
about the topic are welcome too.

Thanks!

If you're lost in an English town either:

1: Find a phonebox and dial 0800 123456 and you will be
connected to a local cab company and tell them the road
you're on

2: Keep walking along the streets towards the lowest number.
Keep doing that and you'll end up in the Town Centre.

Yeah I usually ask the taxi cab. They are everywhere!

:)

The circular path people make (when lost in the forest for
example) is inborn thing (I believe)...
