I'd have spent the lot on booze by now.

Rephlex: Bochum Welt "Module 2", Synectics "Purple
Universe", Kinesthesia "Empathy Box", Vulva "Birdwatching",
Cylob "Cylobian Sunset"

I think after buying that B12 album you'll think all other
music is just rubbish, so maybe instead of buying more CDs
invest your money in shares of landmine companies, executive
defense briefcases or some other growth market.

Haha, the only album worse than Laptop Dancing is like a
Tim's: red and blue boxing? The Kosmik Kommando one, I don't
know, there's just nothing to it. I bought it and it was one
of those albums you keep listening to thinking "I don't get
it, what... this is...nothing" until you give up and put it
in a skip and move abroad. It sounds like a collection of
demo tracks that might come with a music software package
like Fruityloops, the sort of souless, pointless, anonymous,
vacuous, ... there's nothing of any worth on it.

That Like a Tim album, oh dear lord, is the sound of someone
wanking about with two drum synths or whatever. It's like
tunelss computer game music. Please don't buy it.

I really like Brothomstates Claro, I'd recommend that. I
haven't heard Ceramics.. so I can't be rude about it. What
about ISAN, they're very good.

dj scud - ambush

DJ scud aint bad. Phthalocyanine released an excellent album
on mu. Warp... jamie liddel is aweslime, and broadcast
should get more recognition than they do. Don't know much
skam... everything bar gescom and boc i've heard sounds a
bit anonymous.

brothomstates - claro

very good, although already said.

team doyobi - push chairs for grown ups & choose your own
adventure

both good, the latter being very 8 bit ish but far better
than the average.

quinoline yellow is also pretty good. on skam.

i haven't heard much off of mu. rephlex is pretty not good
so i stay away from them.

Just buy all of Venetian Snares' releases on Planet Mu, one
by one. Then, obviously get all the Snares' releases on
other labels too (as many as you can get without forking out
shitloads on ebay).

But seriously...

Warp: Ceramics IS da bomb, buy it, it's brilliant! Two Lone
Swordsmen's Stay Down is their best release, although Tiny
Reminders comes pretty close. Elecktroworld and Lifestyles
of The Laptop Café are soothing electro releases, very nice
:-L (good for smoking)

Rephlex: The Bug or D'arcangelo or Global Goon. Vulva's From
The Cockpit is a nice minimal album. P.P. Roy's 7up is fun.

Planet Mu: Cosmic Forces of Mu (much better than Children of
Mu) and Decal's 404 Not Found is very chilled out, really
nice deep bass sound.

Skam: Quinnoline Yellow's pretty good and Wevie Stonder can
be good if you're in the right mood. Oh and Mr 76ix sounds
fucking ace, gotta buy that

hey, try out like a tim's bass girl on his like records.
Its his remake of old american 50's songs using just a 303
and some minimal synth. Its kind of a fun listen!

red & blue boxing is a great album, but he has a weird
original style which is difficult to describe, like the
beefheart of idm or something like that.
