It's on one of the XLT Vibes. It's an awesome track.

vibes, but they aren´t online it seems... :(

Anyway I know where to search for it now...

again - thanks, thanks & thanks for these tracks - I made a
md with the best tracks from both albums and it´s been the
only minidisc I played for a week now...

about the fx:

depends on the specific recording. one thing i have always
used and will always use, for it´s the best delay i´ve
ever heard, is my good ol´ BOSS DD-3 pedal. all delays on
the recordings are made with this one.
most of the ulrike jokiel stuff contains lots of reverb -
this is made with a zoom rfx-1000 19" thing, great reverbs
for almost no money. i recommend this one, for electronic
music i like its sound even better than any 500 dollar
lexicon gear.

on some of the older tracks (especially the c:\ stuff which
i did solo), i just used any crappy guitar pedal fx i could
find... lots of cheap distortion pedals, an incredible bad
sounding ibanez-guitar multi effect monster i stole from a
friend etc. (most of the noisy reverbs on the c:\ album are
made with this one).

jesus!

i remember downloading this back when it was first posted.
Excellent, excellent stuff. I still listen to it to this
very day, and some of the tracks are in my itunes top rated.
Feel bad that I didn't compliment gack on his work first
time around.

Glad this has been bumped though, didn't know about this
"c:\" release.

Good call on the fenix funk reference.

Not fenix funk but xmd5a, either way ovuca used a very
similar sound in one of his tracks first.

Gave a listening to all tracks, very solid work, I'll check
slsk later.

hey mates - it´s been a while since i´ve posted here, just
remembered this thread while checking my website statistics.
thanks so much for all those nice words.
since a long time, me and meta.83 (that was the original
ulrike jokiel line-up) have been thinking of releasing an
"official" mp3 album as part of the privatelektro [pnet]
series for this is just unmastered stuff and not really the
compilation we plan to do some day. but - due to this really
nice feedback, feel free to download and share the bootleg
stuff in the meantime. the file has been moved to a new
url:

ulrike jokiel 11 track pseudo compilation
p
the c:\ solo m3 album (which is in a quite similar style,
maybe a bit more lo-fi and electro) which was mentioned
above is still available here:

c:\ - blasts from the past

once again: thanks so much, it´s great that these 10 year
old tracks are still alive this way!

i wonder why there´s problems with the BLASTS FROM THE PAST
download... you might try a direct visit at the archive org page
for that release. i just tried downloading, it works
properly.

the sound is definitely screwed up because this has been
mostly recorded on2 track c-90 tape with a 4 in one mixer
similar to this one.

Track 1 from the Sampler is absolutely superb. It really
should be available on 12" with a couple of remixes thrown
in. Brilliant, understated minimal techno. In fact, I'm
going to burn a CD-R of this right now, for my drive to work
tomorrow.

maybe one day you'll hold that 12" in your hands. if you
can't wait: just contact me if you have a suitable label to
release the stuff. my own label (privatelektro) will
definitely not be the right choice for releasing a vinyl
record with this music.

maybe in the meantime we could have flacs of this
though, it's a bit crap to burn a cd from 128 mp3's
