'twas an awesome weekend - i'm still buzzing! i'm already
looking forward to next year!

both squarepusher and aphex were on top form - the best sets
i've seen both of 'em do (which is def. saying something!).
mu-ziq and plaid were also ace. i reckon it was a shame
that mike p was on so early in the afternoon tho' - his set
would have gone down really well with the pilled-up space
monkeys in the early hours of the morning!

good to meet up with people - shame i missed keyfumbler and
V-letr, but there's always next year :)

voice sorted now? as much as i tried to feel sypathetic,
your welsh croaking sounded so silly. love it :)

i trust you're both up for it next year? can't wait. we
should definitely fill murray's tent with helium balloons
next time. no question. :p

I was looking for a thread like this... yes I had a super
duper weekend. It was a shame pretty much everything
happened on the Saturday. I was standing right at the front
centre for µ-ziq shouting Go on Mike... Ceephax was propper
funny... Squarepusher threw a beer can at me... Aphex Twin
made me break my shoes from dancing too hard. What a laff

Telly - Keyfumbler came round our camp site after you'd gone
for a chat then they all wanderd off to the mushroom field
while me and Jayne (plus one stalker) got wrecked in the
tent

gutted you couldent stay another night !

Clay - Murry =o)

Don;t know where he is atm but I shall be nagging him for
snaps as soon as I see him

OO ! I had my meat btw and I'm about to have some more !

is camping the only option, or are there hotels around for
spoiled people? i'd love to go to one of this festivals, but
im old and i need comfort :) you know, a shower, air
condition so i can sleep, a nice place to eat...stuff like
that.

you should have been waving an xlt flag or something - we
were probably standing right next to you, yo. we'll hunt
you down next year... :p

did you rate ceephax's set? i arrived at the fest. just
after it had finished and was exceeeedingly pissed off that
i'd missed it, but was told it was pretty wank. just him
messing about with samples and stuff. saw him wondering
around tho' - he's cut his hair and appeard to have stolen
his older brother's wardrobe :S

haha. camping is half the fun of it. pOgO thought she had a
sexay tan on her arms only to discover that it was ground-in
mud. THAT, my friend, is what festivals are all about :p

Umm... well for Squarepusher I was dead centre, about 5-10
people back, then when it became apparent that the gentleman
DJing to the right was in fact Richard D James I swiftly
shuffled along but I was a little way further back then. For
Squarepusher I was behind two people talking (shouting)
through the whole thing it seemed and then having some sort
of argument with a hairy and rather unbalanced gentlemen in
front. Also there was a nice lady crying tears of joy and
screaming at the sky clearly enjoying some sort of heavenly
experience, which was nice. I'm a white guy with a ponytail
so you may not be able to pinpoint me very quickly at a
rave.

I heard there was some bad stuff said about Ceephax's set
but I thought it was perfect for the slot he had. At 1pm
there is only so much raving to be done. He played some nice
old school acid wearing a purple velvet suit and a white
turtle neck, messed around with a keyboard hanging round his
neck, shouted 'hardcore belter' into the microphone and MCed
for about 20 seconds, and he did an acid version of the
Eastenders theme music... it was funny acid fun!

well, judging by the reception they received, they'll
probably be invited again. i guess it just depends whether
they want to play or not. i reckon squarepusher would be
well up for it - he was having a great time on stage
spazzing out shouting random things like 'ravers, i salute
you!' and 'come on - fucking louder!' and things like that.
aphex is always harder to judge - depends whether he can be
assed i guess. fingers crossed.

i'd love to see some skam there next year. a line-up similar
to atp03 would be blinding with the fest atmosphere.

Ooh ooh for muziq I may have been wearing a red bandanna if
that helps you identify me. I had on a light blue T-shirt,
which incidentally was exactly the same as Cylob's...

i think i'll email the people at the glade and say how
aweseome everyone found the warp night and suggest they def.
hook up with 'em again next year. i might also be cheeky
enough to suggest some skam too. i'm shameless, i know, but
i really hope next year's line-up is as good if not better.

I'm going to e-mail and glade and tell them to burn those
fucking fish and alien suits

YOU DONT GET A 10 FOOT ALIEN TO DANCE WHILST PLAID ARE
PLAYING, it ruins the fucking atmosphere. At least keep them
to stages where people are really wowed up bright colours
i.e. the psychedilica stage or the retard home

At the Origin Stage the dancing fish were a lovely
surprise... Why did that stage shut down so early? If
anything they should have gone on the latest, the Liquid
tent wasn't big enough.

well said, dear. i was tempted to set fire to one of those
stupid neon tentacles that kept hitting me in the face when
i was dancing. they would have been far better suited to the
psy-trance tent / the skip outside reading station.
