I still really like YHF... just thought i'd let you all
know for no reason whatsoever... did you know there was no
wilco thread for this board?

Wilco:
discuss... at leisure

The new Wilco album has some neato packaging. But it's not
that great of an album.

Yankee is great, but my favorite is Summerteeth. I was
biased from the beginning tough, because that's such a cute
name.

yeah, summerteeth is quite nice as well... it's a really
tough call... i really like the third track on
summerteeth... maybe it's called "shot in the arm"? you know
the one... but really, Tweedy is a great lyricist... so many
fantastic lines... the one i have in mind right now: from
Jesus, etc. "You were right about the stars/ each one, is a
settin' sun"

the Buck 65 album cover, or the Land of Lurches cover?

i have to get rid of this one... the picture isn't cropped
very well, and the resolution isn't that great... i don't
change very often because i always have to get my girlfriend
to resize it for me, because i'm not very goood with
photoshop...

"yankee hotel foxtrot", but now i realise that they are
Not.

YHF is really cool and i like wilco now, yeh. Is their
newest album any good at all?

Man, i was like that for months but yesterday it just
totally clicked. It was really quite weird in a way, i just
went "aaaaaah, right" and listened to the whole thing while
i was eating some soup.

It was sweet.

There seems to be two types of Wilco. I'm not as keen on the
rockier aspect. But I love Wilco anyway.

That must have been quite a bit of soup, or were you eating
it with a toothpick?

wilco is similiar to wu tang in that they have a few really
great tunes. and then the rest are just horrible.

I'm sure I've made enough wilco threads :-/

the latest album (a ghost is born) is all live, with fewers
loops and synths, maybe that's why fewer people here like
it. I think its pretty amazing really :) Jim O'rouke
features pretty heavily on it, instrumental and
production-wise anyway.

"holy shit there's a company in my back"

I have seen Wilco live a couple of times and my friends
think they are great. I can't see why they have such a
following, I just don't get it. They are mediocre at best...
