Hello all! Here is an update for you. The Disk is more or less ready now. Just a few last bits and pieces to get in place (mainly graphics and links). I have decided that The Disk will only be made to play on your PC since it would cost too much in software and time to make a more professional version with menus and full Standalone DVD compatibility. Basically it will be one big archive where you can hear music, see artwork and read information about the board members. There will also be some bonus material like video clips, mixes and maybe some of the Vibes. Packing materials are being sent to me sometime in the next week. Sorry it is about a month or two past my original estimate, my only excuse is that I chose a bad time of year to present the idea. I should have done this much earlier in the year when people weren’t so busy with college/uni moving and work (myself included). Thanks to all who submitted work. I will be confirming what is going on with you personally before burning the final version. Cheers, Jazembo. |

Sexcellent! I'm guessing it's too late for new track submissions and all that (i'm not super-pleased with those old ones, they were the first things i'd made in maybe 3 years, but nae matter), but i'd be well up for some kind of artwork-competition thing. Anyway, this is very good news, it's a mammoth project so well done and all that. : ) |

i have some music tracks i'm making if you want to use it and some videos how are you gonna make this, is it going to be a cd, record or what? where are you gonna put the artwork? |

Artwork will be needed for the circular DVD label, a square insert (or two if you like) NO larger than 125mm x 125mm (12.5 cm x 12.5 cm). Or one 12.5cm x 25cm if you just want to fold it around the DVD. I am also thinking of including a small info book to go in the envelope, maybe this can have credits for artists who contributed along with listed features and goodies inside (13 cm x 13 cm). Some nice original artwork is what is needed here and some text. Try to keep it simple but stylish (generally like the whole XLT theme) It is up to you anyway, be creative! Recycle, sorry I missed your birthday dude. Happy birthday! I will definitely be using your artwork in the final version though! |

Yea Jimbo, you took so long lovingly crafting this great idea that we'd all like to be taken off of it because, as we're all very important recording artists with careers to think of, doing advertising jingles for net radio stations and pressing up wikkid runs of white label CD-Rs in batches of 3 for our mates, we'd hate to be misrepresented on your dvd that won't be heard by that many people. Thanks for trying to do us a favour, but the truth is, we're all sour cunts of the lowest water. |
