imagine the scenery: you go outisde sit, down somewhere with your powerbook and record the sounds that surround you. they turn out to be a bit Thin. but you want them to sound PHAT. BASS IN YOUR FACE. what do i have to do to achieve this aim? what would you RECOMMEND? how do i pump and blow sounds up?

normalise to 0dBfs. double track it to stereo. pan one hard left, the other hard right. copy to new file. eq: hicut about 800Hz.chorus , distort the bass in a method of your choice -compress a bit.then mix back in for more kick. bit more chorus on the mix of the two, and a tad of reverb. for smoothness. experiment
