I love rollercoasters! I wish I could afford to do some sort
of america and europe themepark tour because the coasters in
England are a bit weak.

you lucky bastard!
I feel for the persons having to work maintenance on the top
thrill dragster.
That park has some nice thrillrides.

i would do it in a second; i'm a sucker for those types of
things. why do guys hate those giant drops so much? i have
never met one who will go on them.

i've only been to six flags in chicago and epcot (which
doesn't really have roller coasters) in florida, hopefully
someday i can add more to my tally. i especially like the
kind of rollercoaster where your feet just sort of hang off
of the cart. don't care too much for the standing ones,
they give me shoulder pain.

the best thing about that roller coaster is there's no build
up to it

You just sit in the car while everyone loads on etc, then it
just shoots off at top speed straight away !

you literrally won't be able to brreath going down that
rrollerr coasterr at them speeds. it's the same on
motorrbikes if you don't have a helmet on orr a
handkerrchief coverring yourr mouth and you’rre going
verry fast.

120 MPH in 4 seconds? How many G's are that?

offline pOgO from behind your belly button fluff on 2004-07-12 05:21 [#01273879]
Points: 12687 Status: Lurker

bout 1.4 g's

offline JAroen from the pineal gland on 2004-07-12 05:40 [#01273890]
Points: 16065 Status: Regular

120 * 1.6 = 196

196 / 4 = 48

48 / 9.81 = 4.8929663608562691131498470948012 G

assuming linear acceleration.

lol, good point by exxailon, I think I would surely wear
skigoggles in order to fully appreciate the view. I love
those instant launches, I already thought the launch in the
rock 'n rollercoaster in disney MGM was great, imagine this
one skyrocketing upward like that.
