yep, when i get enough money i'm gonna build me a decent
machine to run Windows music apps on.

does anyone have a rough figure on how much it'd cost me to
build a decent Mini-Tower system? (just the tower, no
display keyboard or mouse)

its been a long time since i last messed with buying PC
components so i don't know about prices and stuff anymore!

about £300 will get you a really good one, I suggest using
this site.

It depends what you want it for. If it's just for music
then about £300 is the right amount as Sam says, with the
bulk of the price being a decent soundcard.
