This game is quite cool, I did had my doubts about it but I think it's quite a novel little 3rd person shooter/driving game. The whole transforming aspect ads a nice twist to the gameplay. I may have been waiting to take control of a Transformer since I was very young but there's something very satisfying about driving off a hill, transforming in mid air & then landing amongst a bunch of Decepticons all guns blazing..... I think it would get boring after a while because it seems to be quite repetitive but it's a good rental game to play for a few days.

Yeah, I love this game! It isn't perfect, but it's a rock solid adventure. It's not incredibly varied, but it also isn't long. The length is just right, unlike most games which give themselves too much credit and pad their lengths with item fetching, level gaining, and boring filler. This game is nonstop action with a perfect amount of exploration for the most part.
The unlockables are nice rewards, and the bosses are great. Tidal Wave is one of my favorites in video game history... incredibly huge motherfucker.

Haven't played this yet, only saw a few screenshots... it'll be nostalgic but new in a way. Hey whatever happened to Transformers Energon, that recent series? I was getting some episodes back in February or something but it seems to have gone quiet lately, even on TF newssites?
