dunno if this has been mentioned yet, but I got it
yesterday....

if you're a fan of DJ Shadow, check this out. Its his new
double LP featuring a recorded live set from two nights in
the brixton academy.

It is absolutely brilliant. he splices together
unkle/entroducing/quannum stuff/pre emptive strike as well
as newer stuff, and generally has fun, like mixing unkle
lyrics with other stuff and generally having a laugh.

Also features some other classic B-sides and things he has
been involved with, such as the brilliant: holy calamity
(bear witness II) from the handsome boy modelling school
album and others, which I'm sure you know and love.

Oh and he scratches as well!
Check it out or stay lame.

I bought it too. Very, very good. The visuals work really
well, and at one point they helped me sort of 'get' the
Preemptive Strike tracks that I never really liked before. I
will probably buy that next chance I get.

I think it might be, because on one of the record sleeves a
note from mr. shadow said something like, "I'm glad you can
see this show" or something. and well, you can't see it on
vinyl, so I guess its on DVD and he wrote about that.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was on dvd, since he uses
visuals a lot more, because he says he didn't like everyone
looking just at him.

It's a DVD/CD release.
