It's pretty okay. Children Talking (the song, not the xltronic user) is really good though.

In this type of topic you are supposed to discuss the tracks on the release in the title, not a completely different release.
Kind Regards,
Joshua son of Joseph.

Oh yeah, my severe dislexia re-arranged the letters and I saw "hangable auto bulb 1" as the title. SORRY.

contrary to popular believe "En Trance to Exit" is the only song on Analogue Bubblebath that envolved Schizophrenia. "AFX 2" was just Rich.

Analogue Bubblebath 1 is one of my favorite RJ tunes.
I had this damn mixtape in the 90's, which was a full 1 1/2 hours of ambient breakbeat music just like that, with AB1 in there too, but this was before RJ was well known, so I didn't know who it was by back then..
The whole tape was amazing - I have never before or since, ever been able to trip out listening to music properly before - But this used to send me into some wierd waking dream state.

Oh yeah, who was the guy who wrote AB1 with Richard? And what did he go on to do?
This is probably a really obvious question I should know the answer to!

The folklore goes that Tom Middleton(global communication/jedi knights/cosmos) was involved with AB1(supposedly sharing the same birthdays hence aphex twin). Lots of there recordings got trashed when tom's studio got flooded. Partnership broke up when richard decided to go off with tom's girlfriend at the time sam.
Of course that could all just be bullshit.

A classically-trained pianist and cellist, eclectic DJ Tom Middleton discovered graffiti, breaking and surfing whilst living in Cornwall. He started going to clubs and met Richard James (Aphex Twin) in 1989. From there, he learned the science of sampling and synth programming. This friendship lead to Tom co-producing a track for the 'Analogue Bubblebath' EP as Schizophrenia, which has now reached cult status.
