i got this collection of some cool old hip hop stuff from, im guessing, stretch armstrong & bobbito radio show...um perhaps brooklyn...perhaps not...some great tunes on it though!! the collection is called 10.28.93 it says "vintage radio from the private collection" disc one features (among others): -redman -k-solo -nas -black moon/jeru -queen latifah -big daddy kane -a tribe called quest 17 tracks in total disc two: -big l (freestyle live on radio...i think) -ultramagnetic -mf grimm (again some freestyle) -soulz of mischie 12 tracks in total it's awesome!! anyone else enjoy this? |

ohh, i listened to this while cruising with my car today...that is pretty much how this kind of music was supposed to be listened to :) totally awesome stuff, i love it coz it sounds exactly how hip hop should sound, not this overly produced new shit. i become all nostalgic (even though i never experienced it :), when ilisten to this, makes me think of it must have been like in those days im bronx...i bet a lot like spike lee presented it in , which was brilliant!! |

haha, there's a part from the radio show, where the speaker is announicing some events, and there's an event where apperantly his father is playing, he says something like this:"my pops will be there, ramon, will be in the house if you want to meet my father all you young women out there, he's married...but you know, he likes to meet women, you know, he likes to touch..." :) great stuff! |
