Guitar World voted Stairway to Heaven as the best solo ever
back in '98 or something... hard to disagree with them, I
think... it's pretty much flawless. The song is pretty
overrated, though.

God, I remember when I was so into Guitar World...

looks like i already have my vote in for best solo, but i
think i gotta revise it and say anything by pat metheny
instead of just AYGWM from travels. while it is wicked, so
are most of the other things he does. jeoy
