Mine changes from time to time....but right now it's got to
be:

Heart - Barracuda

"Ew....Barracuda"

Please post some other catchy classic tunes...

Am I allowed another?

Journey - Wheel in the sky

(I'm such a sucker for that late 70s/early 80s male
falsetto.)

journey is sweet...the whole "escape" album is good, but if

Too much, classic rock makes up the biggest slice of my
music listening pie, and in fact I'm in a big classic rock
phase right now. Listening to Tomorrow right now, nice
psychedelia with unintentionally hilarious ''special
effects''.

The Beatles- You Won't See Me is my favorite song of all
time. Leafhound- Freelance Fiend is my favorite song of the
moment, some stupid heavy riff rockers.

some favorites off the top of my head:

"misty mountain hop" by led zeppelin

the first boston album

rush, "spirit of radio," "freewill," "red barchetta" and
"limelight"

"what is life?" and "my sweet lord" by george harrison.

i just bought two vinyl albums by the carpenters, but that
will probably elicit groans...

Anything off Led Zeppelin's first four or five albums.
Particularly "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" from I or "Immigrant
Song" from III. God, they rule.

i'm not that much of a classic rock fan really...

i guess 'i am the walrus', or something by frank zappa (hard
to choose, there are so many great ones by him...), or...
well, it depends, what do you define as "classic rock"
anyway? best-known from the 60's, 70's and 80's?

yeah, definitely... but i have to admit that h&h is my
favourite sabbath lp. i know that this is a sacrilege. i
cannot help it.

actually i do think it's one of the better projects rjd was
involved in. i liked the record a lot when i was a kid (i
am by xltronic standards an old timer). i haven't actually
heard it in nearly twenty years.

other classic rock, i've always had a soft spot for "dance
the night away" by van halen.

or how about "have you ever seen the rain?" by ccr...

these dreams is my favorite by heart too!

I prefer Rush without the singing... thus, my favorite Rush
tune is La Villa Strangiato...

Africa by Toto is kick ass too! :)

i hate every classic, not the song in itself but the fact
that it has become so rigid, every note you know.
classic rock songs are the worst in this respect
i choose the great wall of sound, i dont know by whom

''great wall of sound, i dont know by whom''

Are you talking about Phil Spector? I love that murdering
bastard... his girl groups, his work with the Beatles et al,
Pet Sounds... love him. He earned the right to take human
life.

nights in white satins-the moody blues

you guys had mentioned "house of the rising sun" and it
reminded me of Casino so im going with "nights in white
satins" cause that song is awesome

but it says house of the rising sun is by eric burdon...
