edIT is not Scott Herren, right?

What the topic says :)

I was listening to something I later found out was Crying
Over Pros For No Reason by edIT, and it struck me as quite
Prefuse 73-ish -- that was my initial impression. Google
brought up little information but I was looking around
Planet Mu too. But according to blurbs gleaned elsewhere,
edIT = Ed Ma (?) and is definitely not an alias of any sort
for Scott Herren. Are the two friends? Is there more of a
story here? Info seems to be sparse.

Thank you graciously.

edIT = Ed Ma
Prefuse = Scott Herren

not the same person, although they both dabble in hip hop.

Ah! Thank you. Before I had tried Googling for "Ed Ma" but,
you know what comes up. Oddly enough I couldn't find that
Planet Mu page before.

In the past I've seen aliases attacked to fake names and
fake pictures and even bios, as you all know . . . a little
bit of caution goes a long way :)

Oh, yeah: "The style of the album takes cues from Prefuse
73, but taken to another level." That would explain it. :|

Torley!

I remember chatting with you several times a few years back
when i discovered your mp3.com page.

This is crazy that I should encounter you again at this
point because just last week the O Canada remix you made a
few years back was played at my school for the morning
announcements/anthem. I even remembered that it was your
remix that was played.
