Tipper, Shpongle and Bogdan Raczynski are some of the electronic artists I've been checking out, while away from the direct influence of the board. - check out the album "surrounded"
Tipper is surprisingly good mixture of guitar-playing and electronic music. And Shpongle is a mixture of chillout, salsa and worldbeat. - check out the album "tales of the inexpressible"
Bogdan is probly to well-known to mention, but I still love Samurai Math Beats

I've heard some Shpongle...ehhh it's ok. Not really my cup of tea. All of the Psy/Goa heads over at the gamefaqs board rant and rave about how Shpongle is like the greatest thing to happen to electronic music.

I dont like Bogdan, I've only heard Tippers remix on the Slag Boom Van Loon album, and Shpongle is exactly what revpersona said.

I didn't like surrounded (didn't tolerate it for long so don't have a very educated opinion), however crunch 1 and parts of 2 are ridiculously beautiful.
