I just KNOW England are going out now, and this is GROSSLY
unjust -- TOTALLY fucking mockery -- if it's allowed to
stand, then it is a total travesty against the game.

what was the referee doing?

he's racist im sure, giving free kicks every time darius
vassel touched the ball, and disallowing campbell's goal...

around...

the referee signalled a push... where was the push? who was
pushing? and who was being pushed?

john terry clearly has his arm pushing down on Ricardo's
shoulder... you can't do that to a keeper who is trying for
a ball...

come to england watch the premiership... bloody hell!

the goalkeepers are supposed to be strong, they're not
supposed to get a better service than the players.

owen played well, shame shreck went out quickly.

those 2 penalties missed by beckham piss me off a bit but
then the laughter surpasses it all...

lovely bit of skill he showed us in this euro.

go scandinavia! go holland! go greece!

the commentator who i was watching the game with seemed to
have no problem with it (he's english, i think his name is
martin...)... because regardless of whether or not the
keeper does a dramatic fall or what the fuck ever, you can't
lean on him when he's going up for the ball...

i do watch the premiership... you can't do that shit...
maybe it doesn't get called in the manchester derby... but
this is the Euro cup, and you have to call that shit...

01) he wasn't leaning on him
02) the goalkeeper wasn't trying to jump.

stop trying to stir up crap -- NO-ONE agrees with you.

do you dispute the fact that John Terry, who is above
Ricardo in mid-air, has his hand leaning down on Ricardo's
shoulder?

the air without holding ur arms out!

people do agree with me... and regardless of whether it was
a foul or not, that's the human element of soccer...
shouldn't you be a little more pissed off at the english
squad for letting portugal control the game for so long?

England should have fucking won anyway, disallowed goal or
not, they had plenty of time to still win.

Beckham, if you can somehow sense what I'm typing, NEVER
take a penalty again.

And Strange Times, if you can somehow sense what I'm typing,
NEVER post again.

tbh, beckham come back to england and play on the right
wing... you've been ruined by Real Madrid.

That's unfair Max - beckham took that first pen before they
all realised the spot was fucked-up -- I think was just
totally unlucky in his case - he wouldn't sky the ball like
that.

in an interview afterwards Michael Owen said that when
players placed their supporting foot next to the ball, the
pressure would disturb the ground (being a sand based pitch)
and thus moving the ball. Beckham's style of taking
penalties usuallly involes putting his supporting foot
v.close to the ball - so the effect was multiplied.

if i were an england fan (and it's not that i'm not, i just
happen to like portugal more), i wouldn't be able to accept

Xammax, dont be bitter.

Fact is, Portugal were all over England the whole game, they
thoroughly deserved the win. Sour grapes.
